It would be great if students could get push notifications on their devices when assignments are made available, when feedback/grades are sent, and when assignments that haven't been completed are due soon.
They are! This was implemented about 2-months ago.
Starting next week, students will only receive one email notification when the assessment has been graded rather than an email per question that has been graded.
I think they are getting notified when feedback is available.
