Sometimes I would like to preview an assessment from the student's perspective before it goes live. Currently even if it is scheduled I am not able to preview what the students will see that that I can proof/edit the assignment. It seems that the only way I seem to be able to do view an assessment is if I make it live, which then creates a post on Google Classroom and students are then alerted.
Hi Michael! This was made possible a couple of weeks ago when Draft Status was added.
Teachers can now view Draft assessments when viewing as a student while actual students won't see them until they are made active.
Unrelated, but good to know, teachers no longer get locked out of single attempt questions when viewing as a student so you can more easily view a question and back out without needing to worry about fixing a locked attempt in order to edit the assessment.
