Just like there is a "hide students without attempts" option, there should be an option for instructors to only view students/questions that still need grading. Right now, we see all of them, including those we have already graded, and there is no way to display only those attempts that have not been graded yet. Please please please add that feature!
Now supported through color coded status's in the new gradebook.
Agreed and something we will add during the Grading Redesign.
The New Gradebook (currently available for beta testing, separate from the Grading redesign) will also help with this because everything is color coded and teachers can sort high/low which will sort students in a cleaner view.

Because the New Gradebook is a table I don't think it would make sense to show/hide the same way this would work within Grading.
I would also like to have a "hide students with attempts" so I can easily see who hasn't complete the work. I would also like to be able to email just those students a reminder.
