Support review time of 0 seconds

Currently, when wanting to prevent students from previewing a question, selecting 0 seconds results in an error message, with the solution being typing in a 1-second option. A suggested improvement would be to allow selecting 0 seconds instead of requiring the additional step.

    Hi Sam,
I think this may make more sense over a zoom call. Maybe sometime next week?

    Hi Michael,

The "clock countdown" and when it starts does depend on what type of question prompt you've included so I want to make sure we're on the same page.

    • Video/Audio Prompt - review time starts after the video/audio finishes playing > recording starts when review time ends

    • Text/Image prompt - review time starts as soon as the student opens the question > recording starts when review time ends

With that being said, if you set the review time to zero would you expect additional changes to how that behaves?

    • Video/Audio Prompt w/ 0 seconds to review - would you expect the recoding to begin immediately after the prompt finishes playing in this case?

    • Text/Impage prompt w/ 0 seconds to review - would you expect the recording to start as soon as the student opens the question?

It's easy to miss things with so much going on! That's why I appreciate you submitting ideas on here so that others can find these threads if they have the same question! :)

    Hi Sam,
Sometimes you want to present the question and have the clock countdown as
soon as the question becomes visible to them. This way if you want to give
them just 10 seconds to read and respond, it takes away the issue of having
the 3, 2, 1 countdown appear, which then gives the students 3 additional
    seconds before the recording starts.

Thanks for responding to the other questions/ideas I posted. I didn't know
that the draft was a way to view things.... I'm sure you guys released a
video or something on it, but I get swamped with work that I do fall behind
    sometimes on emails.

Hope you are doing well and happy belated new year!

Hi Michael! Can you help me understand the use case for wanting to have a zero second review time?

When you say, "do not want students to be able to preview a question" would the idea be that the recording starts as soon as the question is opened?

If you have any example questions that you'd like to use in this format please let me know what the question would look like.

    Thanks!
