For example, if the teacher wants to have students transcribe a word, the teacher knows what the correct answer should be. Allow teachers to determine the correct answer for short typed responses so that they grade automatically.
Be able to highlight portions of a student's written responses and to add comments to those areas that are highlighted
While I am grading a students writing using an rubric that aligns to ACTFL, I still want to be able to show students specific errors they make and explain what the correct wording would be. The idea would be similar to making comments on a google ...
So many teachers love downloading audio and video submissions, but have mentioned they'd like to download the written submissions as well. And to put the cherry on top, include the comments & score along with the submission.

Ability to provide a cumulative score by Assessment
Right now a score is provided per question if a rubric is present. A cumulative score for the assessment is calculated based on this. Some prefer to grade the entire assessment rather than a grade per question to make grading more efficient.
students should receive an alert when the teacher has left a comment with grading an assignment. There should be a way for students to quickly see which questions in an assessment received a comment from the teacher.
Grading setting, already graded move to bottom of list
It would be great if once you finish grading student's assessment, it went to the bottom of the list. So the top of the grading list is what you still have to complete grading
Inline video feedback option to insert feedback at specific points
Allow teachers to provide feedback to students when they submit videos. Allowing teachers to pause the video when they hear or see (ASL) an error and can give students immediate feedback at the "time" in the video.
I would love to get an email when an assignment has been submitted after the due date. It would also be helpful to have a flag on the late assignments in the gradebook when reviewing the submission.
I have multiple teachers who have asked if we have an accent keyboard option for when they are providing written feedback like we do for the students when submitting their written work.
It would be nice to include stamps for quick graded items. Here is an idea for that ( https://www.teachtci.com/blog/new-provide-feedback-with-stamps/ ).
